Isn’t it funny? Every time the Resistance attempts a meet-up, the First Order ends up also arriving. This seems to be very true at Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite. One of the best moments that is offered during this Star Wars event is the Gathering of the Resistance with Rey. This is a beautiful moment with Vi Moradi, Rey, Chewbacca, some Resistance members, and of course the First Order.
After taking photos of this moment in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge on Tuesday night. I wanted another try at it. Disneyland invited me back to cover Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite on Thursday night, and I was given my chance! This time I wasn’t taking pictures while simultaneously filming. It made all the difference in the world. Below is a look at the photos I took during the first gathering of the Resistance at Black Spire Outpost on Batuu on Thursday, April 10, 2025.
The Gathering of the Resistance with Rey is one of the best moments at Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite. It would be amazing to see things like this happening at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge on a regular basis. It really brings Black Spire Outpost and Batuu to life in an incredible way. Of course, with it being during Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite, there are more Star Wars fans on hand with their lightsabers. However, if it were offered on a regular basis… maybe more Star Wars fans would visit Batuu on a regular basis!
