The Reliv Kalogris Foundation (RKF) feeds over 40,000 people, mainly kids, every day around the globe. It is the same group of kids that get nourishment and invested in daily. Because of the Reliv Kalogris Foundation these kids have a future. I have been most fortunate to get to support the RKF and try to help it expand. The biggest way this is done is through the songs and videos created by the Primordial Penguins. We have used this band as a platform to share more about the RKF and raise more awareness.

Last year my collaborator Johnny and I had the opportunity to go on an inspection tour of some of the feeding centers that the RKF has in Haiti. To say the trip was an adventure would be an understatement. There were times I felt like I should be dressed in a fedora and be carrying a whip while wearing a brown leather jacket. On the flip side, that would have been ridiculously uncomfortable as it is both warm (ok, who am I kidding… it’s hot there) and humid in Haiti. The staple food there seems to be rice and beans. There are motorcycles everywhere and you would not believe how many people can fit on a moving motorcycle… or how much one can haul…

The trip was all about helping us as the Primordial Penguins understand first hand what the RKF does and in the conditions they are doing them in. In coming weeks and months I will get into specifics of what I saw and experienced, but for today I’ll say this: The Reliv Kalogris Foundation does a LOT of good wherever it goes and it is blatantly obvious.

The Reliv Kalogris Foundation goes into places that really are hopeless and bring hope. What is offered is so much more than just nutrition, they also help facilitate educational opportunities and better living conditions. It also doesn’t just offer blank checks, but there are checks and balances to make sure that every gift is being used to better children’s lives as opposed to being bogged down in the corruption that is so rampant in Haiti.

The entire experience of visiting Haiti with the RKF definitely added a whole new perspective of what is being done by this Foundation. I saw a very different way of life that was almost unimaginable… especially when you consider how close Haiti is the United States. This experience added an extra layer of commitment for me to share what it is that the RKF does and how others can join me in supporting it.

Speaking of, if you would like to donate to the foundation you can go here. If you would like to join me in supporting, please contact me. Or if you’d just like to ask questions about my experiences or comment on them, leave me a comment!

This last year’s theme for the RKF has been “Be the Change.” There are so many different ways you can make a difference and be the change. This has been an incredibly rewarding way for me to make a difference and know that what I am doing literally is saving and changing lives. It really has been one of the most rewarding unexpected benefits of building my own business and helping others do the same. I continue to look forward to being the change as we move forward to help people who can’t help themselves.

Make it a GREAT day!
